As Vice President of Finance, Mr. Sterbling leads technical accounting, financial reporting, tax, insurance, corporate finance, internal controls, and continuous process improvement initiatives within finance and accounting. He works cross-functionally to implement best-in-class processes and support the growing needs of the business.
Mr. Sterbling brings more than 15 years of broad experience in corporate finance and accounting at large, public multinational corporations, primarily in the industrial manufacturing industry. Before joining SMTC, Mr. Sterbling most recently served as Director of Accounting Policy, Process and Systems at Rogers Corporation, where he had strong track record of people-first accounting leadership and implementation of best practices. Prior to Rogers, Mr. Sterbling served in progressively responsible accounting and finance roles at Carlisle Companies, Inc. and its subsidiaries.
Mr. Sterbling is a licensed CPA and holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Master of Science degree in Accounting from Babson College. He began his career in EY’s assurance practice in Detroit.
