As General Manager of our Billerica facility, Mr. Burns is responsible for overall leadership in manufacturing, engineering, and quality organization.

Mr. Burns is a ten-year Marine Corps veteran with exceptional talent to think clearly, problem solve, complex decision making, and ability to demonstrate extraordinary leadership capabilities in all types of environments. His ability to evaluate and resolve problems with large scale, complex operations in high pressure, chaotic, and heavily regulated environments, meeting international deployment objectives is key to his success. Mr. Burns has had repeated successes with the management, mentorship and development of entry level to highly skilled personnel, cross-functional teams, to meet and exceed operational goals despite limited resources and tight timeframes. Mr. Burns has strong project management skills, program development and implementation background.

Prior to joining SMTC, Mr. Burns has spent over 25 EMS years in Contract Manufacturing working in companies such as Solectron, Plexus, Mack Technologies and Elbit Systems of America.
