As Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Facklam is responsible for leading SMTC operations in a collaborative environment to continuously improve operational performance in predictability, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction, as well as supply chain and operational excellence functions.

Mr. Facklam has 35 plus years of supply chain, operations and manufacturing experience in the electronics industry, in both EMS and OEM environments. Prior to joining SMTC, Mr. Facklam served as COO at Zentech Manufacturing. Prior roles were Group VP of Operations at Benchmark, and multiple supply chain and operations leadership roles at IBM, Celestica, SGI and Cray Research.

Mr. Facklam holds a BBA in Business Management and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and holds APICS and Black Belt certifications
