MC Assembly Lends Hand to Keep Brevard Beautiful
MC Assembly, a leading mid-tier electronics manufacturing services provider, recently partnered with Keep Brevard Beautiful for a beach clean-up event on March 11. A total of 35 MC Assembly employees and family members volunteered at Pelican Beach (Satellite Beach) Saturday morning for the two-hour clean-up.
“This time around our “My Community” team really wanted to participate in an event that would help our environment,” said Brian Kingston, MC Assembly Human Resources Director. “We were able to fill several garbage bags and remove a lot of trash from our local beach.”
Keep Brevard Beautiful, Inc. (KBB) and its network of volunteers strive to maintain and improve the environment of Brevard County, through litter control, education, recycling and beautification programs
MC Assembly’s “My Community” volunteer program each quarter selects a local charity or volunteer neighborhood event to participate in. Past events have included Habitat for Humanity, a school charity 5K race and a school backpack drive. Kingston says participating in these events is a win-win for everyone.
“Not only was this a great benefit for our local environment but it is great to see the teamwork, camaraderie and passion the MC Employees embrace for our community events,” he said.
