Greg Gaba, CPA, CA

Vice President, Finance

As Vice President of Finance, Mr. Gaba is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including its financial reporting, treasury, budgeting and forecasting as well as the global accounting policies for SMTC. In addition, Mr. Gaba is responsible for building and maintaining SMTC's relationships with the external auditors and financial institution.

Prior to joining SMTC in 2010, Mr. Gaba built his accounting and financial foundation at Ernst & Young LLP, where he held a variety of positions, including Manager of Assurance and Business Advisory Services. Mr. Gaba also serves as a member of the finance committee for a local charitable organization. Greg holds a Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accounts of Ontario.

Andrew Tham

Vice President & General Manager for SMTC Suzhou

As VP/GM SMTC Asia, Mr. Tham is responsible for managing the manufacturing facility in Suzhou in China.

Prior to joining SMTC in 2012, Andrew served as General Manager of Seksun Array Electronics Suzhou for 5 years after which SMTC acquired Seksun in 2012. With over 25 years experience, he has held various positions in privately owned and publicly listed companies. Andrew has experience in areas such as manufacturing, material management, operations, engineering & sales and marketing. He holds an International MBA from University of South Australia.

Carlos Diaz

Vice President & General Manager for SMTC Mexico

As VP and GM of SMTC Mexico, Mr. Diaz is responsible for driving continuous improvements in our Lean Manufacturing practices at the Chihuahua Mexico facility. Mr. Diaz is focused on delivering exceptional service to our customers by continually exceeding their expectations and ensuring a seamless transition process.

With over seventeen years experience on purchasing, manufacturing and business management, Carlos has had great success defining the right communication channels that develop and maintain excellent customer relationships. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from UACH University.

Seth Choi

Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management and Procurement

As Vice President of Global Supply Chain Management and Procurement, Mr. Choi is responsible for strategic sourcing, pricing, assurance of quality, speed to market, and the continuity of supply in order to support global SMTC procurement strategies.

Mr. Choi brings over 15 years of experience in the EMS industry. Prior to joining SMTC, Mr. Choi held positions in Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Cost Management, and Business Win Teams at Sanmina Corporation. During his career, he managed an excess of $160M in annual spend and was responsible for deploying supply chain solutions for many strategic customers. Mr. Choi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Kenny Lai

Vice President & General Manager for Fremont, California

As Vice President & General Manager for Fremont, California, Mr. Lai is responsible for driving continuous improvement in the form of implementing lean and best manufacturing practices at the Fremont, California facility. Mr. Lai is focused on delivering exceptional service to our current and new customers. Mr. Lai brings over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and operations within the electronics industry, including international experience in China, Thailand and Malaysia. He brings with him strong experience in management of multiple operations within a single plant and implementation of lean manufacturing and Kaizen techniques.

Prior to joining SMTC Mr. Lai has worked within the EMS industry for over 20 years, positions include; Chief Operation Officer with Piranha EMS and prior to that he was Director of Operations at CTS Corporation for more than 14 years.
